Introduction

Welcome to PrivateAir! This site presents an impression of national and international flights from Rotterdam Airport (EHRD) that I made as a private pilot.

Early 1993, I joined the Vliegclub Rotterdam to learn to fly. My flying 'career' so far consists of:
  • 1993: Recreational Pilot License (RPL). This allowed me to fly with passengers in the Netherlands and parts of Belgium and Germany
  • 1999: Private Pilot License (PPL), enabling international flights worldwide
  • 2002: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) theory and an Instrument Rating (IR), which allows me to bust clouds and fly by night
